You’re not alone. Many years when I was ill, I was so consumed with “what-if” thoughts, until I started to replace them with “why-nots”.
I would go to bed thinking what if I died in my sleep, what if I never walk again, (the pain was unbearable) only morphine could help. What if my children became orphans. It was endless!
I decided to change my “what-ifs” scenarios with what can be the worst case scenarios and gradually, I began to come up with solutions. I realized that God does not give what we cannot handle and those things that don’t kill us make us stronger.
With this in mind, I started replacing negative “what-ifs” with a positive “what-if” to get the best case scenario.
Remember all these goes on in the mind, you can control your thoughts, your thoughts do not control you. So get in the habit of thinking best-case scenarios always.
Before I go, please share by sending me a message here, one thing you want to make your “why-not”. I’m always here to listen and help you build your confidence.
